Why this guide
I have welcomed guests at Bright Studio since 2026, and they always ask me the same things: where to eat, how to get around, what not to miss. This guide is what I tell them, checked and without advertising.
Basel and me
I have lived in Ettingen, in the Basel region, about 15 minutes from the city, since 2024.
How the guide is made
- Every place in the guide is the author’s own recommendation.
- Dates, opening times, prices and transport details are checked against the official sources linked on each page, and every guide page shows when it was last updated.
- The site has no advertising, no tracking and no analytics.
- No business pays to appear in the guide.
Bright Studio
We also host Bright Studio, a ground-floor studio for up to three guests in Basel Old Town, booked through Airbnb. The guide is written for every visitor, wherever you stay.
