The Basler Weihnachtsmarkt 2026 is open daily from 26 November to 23 December, from 11:00 to 20:30, on Barfüsserplatz and Münsterplatz, with an alpine hut on Claraplatz in Kleinbasel. Münsterplatz also has the Märchenwald, a fairy-tale forest.

The market runs every day from 26 November to 23 December 2026, with stalls of gifts, food and drinks on two Old Town squares.
Where and when
- Barfüsserplatz: daily 11:00–20:30.
- Münsterplatz: daily 11:00–20:30, with the Märchenwald (Monday to Friday 13:30–19:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:00–19:00).
- Claraplatz, in Kleinbasel: an alpine hut.
Advent in Kleinbasel
In the weeks before Christmas, Rheingasse becomes the Adväntsgass im Glaibasel.
